The Home Church was established in 1979 by Pastor T. Mariaraj. During its initial period, spanning approximately 20 years, the congregation faced extremely challenging circumstances. Despite these hardships, it continued to grow gradually in faith and fellowship.

In the years 2002 and 2003, several clear visions from God were received, marking a turning point in the ministry. Since then, the church has experienced significant growth and transformation.

On March 20, 2006, the title of Archbishop was conferred upon Pastor Mariaraj—a distinction he accepted only under strong compulsion. At that time, such titles were not customary within spiritual churches, and this was the first instance of such recognition being given within the district. Though the purpose was not fully understood initially, it later became evident that God had a specific plan for the ministry through him. In the same year, 2006, a theological seminary was established.

On 15/01/2016, CMM (Church of Messiah Mission) was established. On 27/11/2021, official institutional recognition was obtained from the Anglican Church of India. Earlier, on 01/06/2020, the Elderly Care Service Division was launched, through which around 50 individuals are currently supported by providing daily meals directly to their homes.

Thus, what began as a humble village congregation has today grown into a well-structured institution, recognized as the Home Church of the organization. Through its various ministries, the church actively conducts worship services, Sabbath School classes, youth ministries, prayer meetings at multiple levels, and a range of social service initiatives.
